Dorian Bell Possible Transfer Update

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- We have an update on the report that former Gateway High School Star Dorian Bell plans on leaving Ohio State.

WBNS-TV (Columbus) is reporting that Ohio State Head Coach Jim Tressel is unaware of Bell's desire to transfer from Ohio State to Pitt.

Monday night, internet stories surfaced that Bell had decided to leave Ohio State.

A transfer to Pitt would require Bell to sit out the entire 2011 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

Bell has been suspended for the entire upcoming season by Ohio State for repeated violation of team rules.

There's also rumors out there that Bell doesn't really want to leave Columbus but is quietly being told by people at the university that he's not welcome back.

It's been a rough off-season for Ohio State who will see five players and Tressel serve a five-game suspension to start the 2011 season as a result of players being involved in the selling of memorabilia in exchange for tattoos.
