Neighborhood Dispute Turns Physical In Unity Township

UNITY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A neighborhood dispute turned into a backyard brawl in Unity Township, Westmoreland County.

Paul Myers, who lives on Union Cemetery Road, says his neighbors' stepson, Ryan Dennison, and Dennison's girlfriend, Ashley Jones, walked across his property last month despite a no trespassing sign.

Myers says when he confronted the teens, Brad and Owana Sarver got involved too.

Myers says he was scared for his life when the altercation with the group turned physical so he pulled out his pepper spray. Ultimately, three people were pepper sprayed and went to Latrobe Hospital for treatment.

Paul Myers is now charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and criminal trespassing. His neighbors will be cited for harassment.

All parties are listed as both suspects and victims on the police report obtained by KDKA.
