4-1-Zoo: Green Tree Summer League Rosters Announced

PITTSBURGH — Pitt will be well represented in this summer's Pittsburgh Basketball Club Pro-Am at the Greentree Sportsplex, as 13 players are set to participate.

Players from area schools will converge on Green Tree this summer to participate in a league comprised of seven teams. Players will be split up and mixed in with the rest of the colleges and universities. No more than two players from a school are allowed to play together in the summer league, excluding incoming freshmen.

Here's a look at the Panthers participating and what teams they'll be on. You can find a more comprehensive list here, including representatives from West Virginia, Robert Morris, Duquesne and Penn State.

Team 1: Travon Woodall, Talib Zanna, and Durand Johnson.

Team 2: Ashton Gibbs and Lamar Patterson.

Team 3: Isiah Epps and Dante Taylor.

Team 4: Cameron Wright, Nasir Robinson and Malcolm Gilbert.

Team 5: John Johnson, J.J. Moore and Khem Birch.

No Panthers are on Team 6 or Team 7.

There have also been rumors that Aaron Gray, DeJuan Blair and Sam Young might attend. Their statuses are up in the air with the current uncertainty surrounding the NBA and a possible work stoppage.

They will likely be last-minute additions if there is an NBA lockout.
