PITTSBURGH (Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN) — Pirates starting pitcher Kevin Correia joined Seibel, Starkey, and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about taking two of three from Baltimore and getting his 9th win of the season.

Immediately following the 5-4 victory at PNC Park, Kevin Correia called The FAN to talk about his day on the mound, lasting six innings.  He spoke of how important it was to him to last as long as he did so there were enough arms to finish the game.

Correia talked about the current situation at catcher, saying it is a bit difficult after you have gotten used to throwing to the same guys all throughout spring training.  He credited the catchers for working as hard as they are and said it’s only going to get better the more they work together.

Correia talked about the upcoming series against the 44-29 Boston Red Sox saying the Pirates feel they can hang with anyone at this point.  He also said the fan support is great and the guys are ready to go out and play every night.
