Zach Brown Transfers To Pitt

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Ray Graham just picked up some help in the Pitt backfield.

Former Wisconsin running back Zach Brown confirmed to Pantherlair.com that he's transfering to Pitt.

Because he's already graduated from Wisconsin, Brown will not be forced to sit out a season and will be eligible to play immediately in 2011.

Brown is the 4th player to transfer to Pitt since the arrival of Todd Graham. Brown joins Cullen Christian (Michigan), Ray Vinopal (Michigan) and wide receiver Brendon Felder (North Carolina).

In his 3 seasons on the field with the Badgers, Brown collected 1,152 yards on 240 carries (4.8 yards per carry) and scored 11 touchdowns.

Brown will give Graham the option of not rushing his four incoming freshman running back into playing time if they're not ready.
