2 Injured In Somerset Co. Shooting Incident

SOMERSET TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Police are investigating a shooting incident that left two people injured Friday night in Somerset County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident happened at a home on Masonic Temple Road in Somerset Township around 7 p.m.

Jarad Chappue, 32, was visiting his girlfriend 32-year-old Aimee Steele.

For reasons unknown, Chappue fired several rounds inside Steele's house. At least one of the rounds struck Steele in the leg.

Steele fled the residence and collapsed outside.

Shortly after, Chappue shot himself in the head.

There is no word on either of their conditions at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
