WASHINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) -- Authorities in Washington County continue to investigate the death of a man who allegedly tried to break into a home over the weekend.

The Washington County Coroner's Office has now identified the man as Ezequiel Pando, 32, of Lovington, N.M.

Investigators report that the incident started around 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Penn Avenue in the City of Washington.

"[The] lady come running out of the house. It was somewhere between 2:30, 3 o'clock in the morning, yelling, 'Call 911, somebody's been shot,'" said a neighbor who did not want to be identified. "So, my son called 911 and we went out and she went running down the road to another house and the cops were here and that's about all we know."
