Hill District Shooting Injures 1

HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) – One person was injured after being shot twice in the Hill District Monday morning.

According to police, homicide detectives were called to the 2400-block of Chauncey Drive around 3:24 a.m.

Five shots were fired and a man was struck once in the back and once in the leg.

The victim was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

There was at least one witness that police are working to find at this time.

The suspect has been described as a light-skinned African-American male standing about 5-feet-10-inches tall.

Names of the victim and the suspect have not been released.
