Pitt Lands 4-Star Quarterback
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Todd Graham has landed his biggest recruit since becoming head coach at Pitt.
Four-star quarterback Chad Voytik of Cleveland (Tenn.) High School has given Pitt a verbal commitment.
Last week at the Elite 11 quarterback camp, Voytik announced that Pitt and Vanderbilt were his two finalists.
Rivals.com ranks Voytik as the No. 6 pro-style quarterback and 153rd player overall.
Voytik will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January.
Kind of surprising that Voytik wasn't that highly recruited while having a 4-star ranking.
Aside from Pitt, Voytik had offers from Mississippi State, Clemson, Louisville, Memphis, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Wake Forest.
Pitt now has 10 commitments for the Class of 2012.
