PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Steelers’ linebacker LaMarr Woodley joined Vinnie and Cook on SportsRadio 93-7 The Fan live at training camp in Latrobe on Tuesday.

Woodley talked about his camp experience this year and how it differs from previous years due to the new league-wide restrictions on practice schedules.

As for the so-called “Steelers Rules,” which have cost the team’s defense many penalty yards, Woodley said: “I don’t think you change the way you play. You just have to be a little bit smarter.”

He also discussed the mentality of the team and the leadership of the veterans on the Steelers. He says that he believes that they will be in a good position when the season begins.
