'Greensburg 6' Suspect Formally Sentenced To Life In Prison

GREENSBURG (KDKA) - The first of the Greensburg Six to be convicted in the death of Jennifer Daugherty was formally sentenced Wednesday.

Angela Marinucci was found guilty of first-degree murder back in May, which carries a mandatory life sentence. On Wednesday that sentence was officially imposed.

A judge today told Marinucci that she will spend the rest of her life in prison without the possibility of parole.

She is the first of the six people charged to be convicted of first-degree murder in the torture-death of Daugherty.

Today, Daugherty's family brought her urn to the courtroom and gave emotional victim impact statements to the judge before the formal sentencing took place.
