Fires Break Out Overnight In Arlington, Clairton

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Fire broke out at two homes overnight, sending crews to Arlington and Clairton.

In Arlington, a house up for sale was consumed by a fire during the overnight hours.

The blaze broke out around 1 a.m. in the 2900-block of Spring Street.

Neighbors say the woman who lived there recently moved to a retirement home and realtors had been in and out of the house on a daily basis.

Authorities are investigating the cause, but at this point say that it does not appear to be suspicious.

Meanwhile, fire also broke out at a home in Clairton late Wednesday night.

It happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the 1100-block of Gary Avenue.

No injuries were reported.
