Butler Man Killed In Crash On Route 308
BUTLER (KDKA) – State police are investigating a fatal crash in Butler County overnight that claimed the life of a Butler County man; and investigators believe speed was a factor in the accident.
The accident happened on Route 308 near the Clearview Mall in Center Township around 9 p.m. Thursday.
According to investigators, the driver of a 1966 Mustang died after he lost control of his car on curve, crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck.
The coroner identified the victim as Timothy Spencer, 28, of Butler.
The occupants of the truck were treated for minor injuries.
