District Attorney Files Charges Against Local Contractor

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office has filed charges against a contractor from the Mon Valley.

Robert Sippos was arrested and is facing several charges, including five counts of theft by deception.

Authorities say homeowners paid Sippos for work that he never finished, bilking people out of tens of thousands of dollars.

Sippos was arraigned and will be in court for a hearing later this month.
