Cotchery To Visit Steelers

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The Steelers will reportedly talk with veteran wide receiver Jerrico Cotchery.

The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Cotchery will visit with the Steelers front office tomorrow.

Earlier this week, Cotchery was released by the NY Jets, who today signed veteran wide receiver Derrick Mason.

Cotchery, 29, had 41 catches for 433 yards and two touchdowns for the Jets last season. From 2006 to 2008, Cotchery had at least 70 catches.

The Steelers will have competition if they choose to pursue Cotchery because the Baltimore Ravens are one of four other teams that expressed interest.

The Steelers could use some depth at wide receiver because of the injuries to Hines Ward and Emmanuel Sanders.
