Baron Batch Suffers Knee Injury

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Steelers rookie running back Baron Batch has been the talk of camp but today he's being talked about for the wrong reason.

At the end of practice today, Batch had to be carted off the field with what looked like a serious injury to his left knee.

The injury happened at the end of a long 40-yard run, Batch's knee just gave out.

Just yesterday, Pat Kirwan from NFL.com called Batch one of the most impressive players in Steelers camp.

This is a tough break for Batch because he was impressing coaches and had a real shot of earning a spot on the 53-man roster.

Head coach Mike Tomlin isn't speaking today after practice so it might be tough to get an official update on Batch's condition.
