Downtown 'Dark Knight Rises' Shoot Action-Packed

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Batman fans got a spectacle while watching the filming of "The Dark Knight Rises."

They saw the Batmobile crash into a hole on Cherry Way and an explosion arranged by the special effects crew.

They also caught a glimpse of Catwoman on her motorcycle.

And since there's more filming in downtown on Friday, more road closures will be set up.

Exchange Way between 9th and 10th Streets will be closed, in addition to Garrison Place between Penn and Liberty Avenues.

Look out for intermittent closures of Penn Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets.

Sidewalks will be open, but expect delays during filming.
