Dorian Bell Transfers To Duquesne

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Dorian Bell is going from playing football at "The Horseshoe" to "The Bluff".

Dave Mackall of the Pittsburgh Tribune Review is reporting that Bell has transferred from Ohio State to Duquesne.

Bell, a redshirt sophomore, faced a one-year suspension at Ohio State for breaking team rules.

The former 5-star recruit will be eligible immediately for Duquesne because players who transfer to FCS programs from Football Bowl Subdivision schools, such as Ohio State, are not required by the NCAA to sit out a year.

Duquesne was predicted to finished second in the nine-team Northeast Conference.

Following his senior season at Gateway, Bell was ranked the #3 ranked outside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com.
