Police Focus On Suspect In Washington Co. Murder

MORRIS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- State police are reportedly closing in on a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Washington County man.

James Durbin, 43, was found dead inside his home in the 200-block of Elwood Day Road in Morris Township on Tuesday. He suffered a single gunshot wound to the head.

While Durbin's death was initially reported to be a suicide, detectives determined that it was a homicide investigation.

According to the Observer-Reporter, police now have a suspect in Durbin's murder.

"After interviewing more than 30 people, we are focusing on one individual," state police Lt. Christopher Neal told the Observer-Reporter.

At this point, though, investigators have not released the identity of the suspect.
