Teenager Recovering Following North Side Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A teenager is in the hospital following a shooting on the North Side.

The shooting happened at 11:46 a.m. near Brighton Road and Armandale.

According to Pittsburgh Police, someone opened fire on a 17-year-old and another man as they were getting out of a jitney.

The 17-year-old, who was first listed in critical condition, has been upgraded to stable condition.

Witnesses told police they saw a grey sedan – possibly a Ford Taurus or a Buick – flee the scene.
