Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Todd Graham and Pitt are finalists for one of the top running backs in the country.

Austintown (Ohio) Fitch four-star running back William Mahone has announced his final three and it includes the Panthers.

Mahone, who’s currently sidelined with a high ankle sprain, says that he’ll decide very soon between Pitt, Notre Dame and Michigan State.

Mahone (5-11, 205) tells Rivals.com that he’ll announce his decision soon and that it could be this week or next.

The Pitt football program could have one more chance to make an impression with Mahone because he might attend Thursday’s game vs. South Florida.

Mahone says that he might come to the game with his teammates, Chris and Demitrious Davis who have already committed to Pitt.

Mahone is ranked as the 11th best running back in the country and the 4th best overall prospect in the state of Ohio.
