Showers, Blustery Winds In Forecast As Cold Front Moves In

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Cooler weather arrives for the weekend as a powerful cold front moves in to the Pittsburgh area during the second half of our Friday.

KDKA meteorologist Dennis Bowman says there will be showers and tumbling temperatures, mostly in the 40s, for the afternoon and evening hours.

Also, winds will become blustery shifting to the NW at 15 to 30 miles per hour.

Bowman says tonight's low will be just 41 degrees.

There may also be some wet snow tonight and Saturday night in the Laurels above 3,000 feet.

Our weather for Saturday will be cloudy with periods of rain and rather windy with a high of 46 degrees. Wind chills will be in the 30s all day.

On Sunday, a morning sprinkle gives way to a little afternoon sun and a high of 51 degrees.
