Pitt's Graham Named Offensive Player Of The Week

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The accolades for Pitt running back Ray Graham continued to pile up on Monday.

According to the Panthers' website, Graham was named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the USF Bulls.

Graham rushed the ball 26 times for 226 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Panthers to a 44-17 win. He also caught four passes for 42 yards in the game.

No other running back in school history has more yards (734) through five games.

Graham is averaging 146.80 yards a game, which leads the Big East Conference and ranks third in the country.

Graham was also named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 201 yards and three touchdowns against Buffalo on Sept. 3.

Pitt (3-2, 1-0 Big East) will continue their Big East schedule on Saturday when they go on the road to take on Rutgers (3-1, 1-0 Big East) at 3:30 p.m.
