Missing Plane Found In West Virginia

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A missing plane that carried three Kiski Valley business owners has been found; but at this point, there is still no word on the passengers.

A West Virginia State Police helicopter spotted the wreckage in a rugged, mountainous area of Hardy County.

Firefighters, EMS and police are headed to the site.

Officials say they do not know the conditions of the people aboard the plane.

Laura Stettmier, 49, co-owner of Addison House, and Chas Armitage, Jr., 52, the president of Uncle Charley's Sausage in Parks Township, were passengers on the flight.

The plane was being piloted by 52-year-old Michael Garrone, of Allegheny Township.

The plane left Danville, Va., and disappeared en route to Johnstown, Pa. Sunday evening.
