Officials Investigate Death Of 4-Month-Old In Washington Co.

WASHINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) -- Authorities are investigating following the death of a 4-month-old child in Washington County.

According to the Coroner's Office, 4-month-old Brenlie Alamri was pronounced dead just after 4 p.m. Friday at the Washington Hospital emergency room.

The baby was found unresponsive by her grandmother, investigators say.

The Washington County Coroner's Office reports that the baby and her grandmother had fallen asleep on a couch, and when the grandmother woke up she found the child unresponsive.

The girl was taken by ambulance to the hospital emergency room where she was later pronounced dead.

The Washington County Coroner's Office says autopsy results are pending.
