Pittsburgh Central Catholic senior tailback Damion Jones-Moore, a fixture in the Vikings' offense each of the past four years, has committed to play football at Toledo.

Jones-Moore had also been offered by Ohio and Division I-AA (FCS) Youngstown State, though he also received interest from Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, and Michigan, according to Panther Digest.

Jones-Moore ranks third in Quad-A with over 800 yards rushing, and his 16 total touchdowns make him one of the top scorers in the district through Week 6. He is on the cusp of becoming the sixth in WPIAL Class AAAA history to rush for 4,000 career yards and is on pace to break Eugene Jarvis' school record of 4,375 yards.

Ironically, Jarvis, who starred during Central's PIAA championship run in 2004 as a junior, went on to find more success playing at Kent State, one of Toledo's rivals in the MAC.
