Lawrence Co. Bridge Stolen, 2 Arrested
NORTH BEAVER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Two men were arrested in connection with a bridge being stolen in Lawrence County.
According to State Police, the 40-foot by 15-foot steel bridge was on private property owned by The New Castle Development Corporation.
The bridge was located in a wooded area near Covert Road in North Beaver Township.
Benjamin Jones, 24, and Alexander Jones, 25, both of New Castle, are facing several charges including, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking and criminal conspiracy.
Both are being held in the Lawrence County Jail on $25,000 bond.
