PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Seton-LaSalle head football coach Greg Perry joined 93.7 The Fan’s John Phillips Saturday to discuss his team’s tenth win of the season, a 48-12 romp over visiting East Allegheny in a WPIAL Class AA First Round playoff contest Friday.

Greg gives his thoughts on why this year’s Rebels can challenge for a WPIAL championship. First, however, they have to get past defending champ and Century Conference rival South Fayette in a Quarterfinal game that will pit quarterback Luke Brumbaugh against his brother, South Fayette freshman QB Brett Brumbaugh. Greg tells us what he knows about the Brumbaugh family.

In addition, Greg talks about the impact of tailback and scoring leader Kevin Hart, and why he thinks all the mercy-rule victories Seton-LaSalle has enjoyed this year can help his team…

The WPIAL Football Quarterfinals kick off next Friday night at various neutral sites to be determined.
