GREENE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Numerous residences in Greene Township, Beaver County reported items being stolen from their cars Saturday night.

According to the police report, unknown subjects apparently went from house to house entering any unlocked cars.

An iPod, a Summit Viper climbing tree stand, and prescription pills were among the items stolen.

Homeowners and residents are encouraged to lock all vehicles, residences, garages and outbuildings, State Police said, because similar incidents have occurred recently.

State Police said that only unlocked cars were entered.
