WILKINSBURG (KDKA) – One person was killed in an early Sunday morning fire in Wilkinsburg.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the fire broke out in the 300-block of West Street around 5 a.m.

The unidentified victim was found on the second floor of the home.

A second person had to be rescued by firefighters.

The cause of the fire is unknown and the fire marshal has been called to the scene.
