Pitt Falls In Rankings
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — After a disappointing loss to Long Beach State last week, Pitt fell to No. 17 in the latest AP Poll.
At 2-1, the Panthers were exploited on the boards and executionally by LBSU.It was the first non-conference home loss at the Petersen Events Center in 58 games.
Pitt is now the fifth highest-ranked team in the Big East beind UConn (4), Syracuse (5), Louisville (7) and Marquette (16).

Pitt dropped in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll as well to No. 16, one spot ahead of Marquette.
The Panthers play at 7 p.m. tonight against LaSalle at the Petersen Events Center, followed by games against Penn Friday and Robert Morris Sunday.
