2 Arrested After Robbing Police Officer

WILKINSBURG (KDKA) – Two people were arrested after robbing a Pittsburgh Police officer and his wife at gunpoint Tuesday night.

According to police, the incident happened on Union Street in Wilkinsburg.

The officer and his wife were walking near their home when a man and a woman approached them. The male pulled out a gun and pointed it at the officer's face.

The suspects stole the officer's wife's cell phone and took off on foot.

The officer and his wife were able to chase and detain the female suspect until police could arrive.

Eventually, the female suspect gave up her partner and the man was arrested at his residence.

The suspects have been identified as Quintin Smith-Anderson and Tonita Henderson.

The officer and his wife were not injured in the incident.
