4-1-Zoo: Seven Panthers Make Phil Steele All-Big East Team

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Despite missing all but a few snaps of the final five games of the season, Pitt running back Ray Graham found his way on to Phil Steele's first-team All-Big East team.

Graham was the only Pitt offensive player to make Steele's first, second or third team. His season ended with a torn ACL on the first series of play against UConn at Heinz Field Oct. 26.

Graham entered the game as the nation's leading rusher.

Six other Panthers were named on the defensive side of the ball.

Linebacker Max Gruder and defensive back Jarred Holley were named to the Big East first team. Defensive lineman Aaron Donald, linebacker Brandon Lindsey and defensive back Antwuan Reed made the Big East second team.

Defensive lineman Chas Alecxih was named to the Big East third team
