Police Seek Suspect In Sheraden Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police have issued an arrest warrant for a shooting in Pittsburgh's Sheraden section that sent a man to the hospital earlier this week.

Investigators say they are looking for 26-year-old Alpha Omega Privette of Sheraden.

The shooting happened on Dec. 12 just before 1 a.m. in the 2900-block of Glasgow Street.

According to investigators, the victim told police that the suspect broke the glass out of his front door and reached inside with a gun in his hand.

The 45-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the hip and was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital in stable condition following the incident.

Police say Privette is known to frequent the Wilkinsburg area and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on where Privette can be found is being asked to call either 911 or the Pittsburgh Police Zone 6 station at 412-937-3051.
