WEXFORD (KDKA) — Police say the same man is responsible for two robberies in communities north of Pittsburgh.

The most recent incident happened 10 p.m. Sunday at the 7-Eleven in Pine Township.

The suspect, described as a white male in his 20’s wearing a gray plaid hoodie, pulled out a small black semi-automatic handgun during the robbery and pulled the hammer back.

He ran away from the store with money and cigarettes toward Mars Borough.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police say the same man robbed a Dollar General in Fairview Township near Chicora, Butler County.

In each robbery, investigators say the suspect apologized and ran out of the store.

Both incidents were caught on surveillance video.

Northern Regional Police ask anyone with information to call them or State police in Butler.
