Two-Time Penn St. All American LaVar Arrington Not Happy With Coaching Search Process

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Former Penn State standout LaVar Arrington joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the hiring of Bill O'Brien and how the university went about making the hiring.

Arrington said he wanted Tom Bradley to be the next head coach because he would be able to bring some goodwill back to the football program and restore order.  It also would have helped that Bradley had the support of the lettermen and the community.

Lavar's concerns with Bill O'Brien are that he doesn't know the Penn State way and won't be able to restore what they have lost, but said if the people making the decision want to get rid of the Penn State way and go in a completely different direction, this is the way to do it.  Arrington certainly doesn't agree with the university detaching themselves from the legends that have gone through there.
