4-1-Zoo: Bostad Staying Put

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Despite rumors surrounding Pitt offensive coordinator Bob Bostad leaving for the NFL, a Pitt source has told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he is not going anywhere.

Bostad was hired by new head football coach Paul Chryst to be the team's offensive coordinator. However, CBS Chicago recently reported that Bostad would be hired by the Chicago Bears.

That report is false.

Bostad is out recruiting on behalf of Chryst and the Pitt football program. He is expected to be the Panthers offensive coordinator next season.
