New Details In Deadly I-70 Pedestrian Accident
NORTH BELLE VERNON (KDKA) – There are new details in a fatal pedestrian accident in Westmoerland County.
Shaun M. Janos, 27, of Smithton, was struck while walking along Interstate 70 near Exit 42 in North Belle Vernon around 10:50 p.m. Saturday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other vehicles collided while trying to avoid the pedestrian accident.
Sources confirm to KDKA-TV the driver involved in the pedestrian accident was driving on a suspended license. The driver could face charges pending toxicology results.
Sources say it's possible Janos was walking from his home nearby to visit a family member.
