Child Hurt After Shots Fired Into Wilkinsburg Cars, Homes

WILKINSBURG (KDKA) -- A child was hurt when someone fired shots into two houses and two cars in Wilkinsburg Monday night.

The shooting happened in the 1400-block of Foliage Street at about 9:30 p.m.

According to emergency dispatchers, shattered glass from one of the vehicles struck a 12-year-old, which inflicted a minor injury.

Car owner Richard Brown said he was watching television and falling asleep when he heard the gunshots.

He is upset that now he has to pay $500 to get his car fixed.

"My wife wants to move but hell, I'm too damn old to go buy a new house some damn where," Brown told KDKA-TV.

Police are looking for as many as three gunmen, but no names have been released at this time.
