Man Injured In Overnight Gunfire In Homestead
HOMESTEAD (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after one person was wounded when gunfire broke out overnight outside of a club in Homestead.
Authorities say the shooting happened just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of East 8th Avenue and Dickson Street outside of the High Rollers Lounge.
According to investigators, one person suffered leg injuries when the gunfire broke out. There is no word on the extent of the injuries or the person's condition.
Police also pulled over two vehicles that had been damaged by the gunfire at West Street and East 8th Avenue. Officials say the windshield on one of the vehicles was shattered.
The investigation into the incident continues. The Allegheny County Forensics Division was also called in to help at the scene.
