Brooks Orpik Likes The Pens' Chances For Cup Run

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Joe Starkey of Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN caught up with Penguins' defenseman Brooks Orpik earlier today, and they talked about Brooks playing some of the best hockey of his career.

A lot of players credit Orpik with stepping up and being a leader when the team needed it most this year, and Brooks said that some players were cutting corners and spending a little too much time worrying about their social life, but luckily they were able to re-prioritize and get their focus back on hockey.

Brooks also talked about Sidney Crosby being out of the lineup and how much the team thinks about when, if at all, he may rejoin the team this season, and how that affects them.

With the season more than halfway over and the trade deadline approaching, Brooks gave his thoughts on making another Cup run and how far he sees this year's team going.
