Missing 2-Year-Old Boy Located In Michigan

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A missing 2-year-old boy and his mother have been located.

KDKA's Mary Robb Jackson reports the boy and his mother have been found in Pontiac, Mich.

The boy's father, Gregory McKenith Sr., who was also implicated in the case, is already in custody.

According to police, 2-year-old Gregory McKenith Jr. was supposed to be turned over to CYF on Oct. 19.

CYF worked with authorities to track down the boy's mother, Darnisha Mills.

Police believe the couple and their son checked out of Hotel 51 in Baldwin Borough on Monday. During the course of the day, the boy's father was taken into custody Tuesday night.

Police say Mills, who may be pregnant again, boarded a bus here Wednesday morning, calling her caseworker to say she and her son were going to her family's home in Michigan.

Both parents have been charged with kidnapping and interfering with the custody of a child among other charges.

A CYF worker is flying to Michigan to pick up the boy.
