Pirates Catcher Michael McKenry Talks Frank Coonelly, Spring Training

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Michael McKenry joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the early days of Spring Training as well as Frank Coonelly's address to the team today.

McKenry said Coonelly is a man of high character who will surely learn from his mistake.

McKenry also talked about getting to catch Eric Bedard already this spring and what he has seen from his as well as some of the other pitchers on the staff.

Michael is now the backup to Rod Barajas, but admitted he's looking forward to getting to work on some things he wants to be better at, and will get to learn a ton from a veteran like Barajas.
