WVU Pummels DePaul, 92-75

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Truck Bryant scored 28 points to lead West Virginia to a 92-75 win against DePaul Tuesday night.

Bryant added two assists, three rebounds and four steals on the night. Kevin Jones also eclipsed the 20-point mark, scoring 22 points, and pulled in 16 rebounds for a double-double.

The Mountaineers (18-12, 8-9 Big East) started the game on a 20-5 run and effectively put the game out of reach early.

Jabarie Hinds was also in double-figures for WVU with 14 points.

Cleveland Melvin and Brandon Young each scored 21 points for DePaul. The rest of the Blue Demons managed just 33 points on the night.

West Virginia's win sets up a huge season finale at South Florida Saturday. A win or loss in that game could determine the Mountaineers' NCAA Tournament fate.
