2 Killed, 1 Injured In Penn Hills Home Invasion

PENN HILLS (KDKA) – Two people was killed and one other was injured during a home invasion in Penn Hills Tuesday morning.

According to police, the home invasion happened in the 8800-block of Westwood Road around 12:50 a.m.

One woman and her son were killed and one other person was taken to the hospital after being shot during the incident.

Later in the morning, a man arrived at the scene and began running toward police, who were forced to subdue him. While they were subduing the man, he was yelling, "My mother is inside."

The woman who was killed has been identified as 51-year-old Angela Proctor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her son, 22-year-old Manning Proctor, was taken to a local hospital, but later died.

""I'm just shocked that this has happened because this lady was a nice lady - her and her son. So, I don't know what that's about unless they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, or somebody had mistaken identity, or the wrong house," a neighbor said.

No arrests have been made and Allegheny County Police are handling the investigation.
