Bucs: Pirates Reassign Four Players To Minor League Camp
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — The Pittsburgh Pirates reassigned four players to minor league camp Wednesday, trimming the major league spring training roster to 39.
Pitchers Daniel Cabrera and Tim Wood along with outfielder Brandon Boggs and first baseman Jeff Clement were reassigned.
The Pirates defeated the Boston Red Sox, 6-5, Wednesday. They return to action Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays at 1 p.m.
