13-Year-Old Falls Down Ravine In Beaver County

CENTER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A 13-year-old boy was rescued after falling 50-feet down a ravine in Beaver County.

The Center Township Fire Department and the Beaver Rescue team performed the technical rescue.

It took about an hour to rescue the boy who had fallen down to a rocky creek bed in Raccoon Creek.

The boy suffered head injuries and cuts on his face. He was flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh and was reported to be conscious and alert.
