Police Make Arrest In Jeannette Shooting

JEANNETTE (KDKA) – A man turned himself in after a shooting in Jeannette that sent a man to the hospital.

At least eight shots rang out with many of them going into occupied homes nearby.

Bullet holes riddle the sides of two Jeannette homes after a shooting around midnight in a parking lot at the corner of Third and Clay avenues.

People living nearby were awakened to the sound of at least eight shots being fired.

"I was like, 'Oh here we go. World War III is going on,'" Shawn Mosely, who lives nearby, said.

Thomas Milliron, 46, of Greensburg was shot three times at close range with a .40-caliber pistol.

"He was shot in buttocks, back and calf. He was treated and released at Westmoreland hospital," Jeannette Police Chief Brad Shepler said.

Police say Milliron had been drinking at Thunder Rolls bar on Clay Avenue earlier in the evening.

They reviewed surveillance tape from inside the bar, but employees want to get the word out, this was not a bar fight.

"Just that we weren't involved in that. I mean, it had nothing to do with the business," Angela Smail, who works for Thunder Rolls, said.

Late Monday, Antawn Williams, 33, turned himself in for shooting. He is charged with aggravated assault.
