Duquesne Hires Jim Ferry
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Duquesne has hired Jim Ferry as its next men's basketball coach, as announced by the university Tuesday.
Ferry has coached at Long Island University for the last 10 years, winning the Northeast Conference title the past two seasons. He replaces former Dukes coach Ron Everhart, who was fired March 23.
Ferry is expected to be formally introduced as Duquesne's next coach at a press conference scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday.
