Brentwood Fire Leaves 1 Dead
BRENTWOOD (KDKA) – One person is dead following a fire at an apartment building in Brentwood Saturday morning.
According to emergency dispatchers, the blaze broke out between 10:30 and 11 a.m. at the apartment building located on Pearl Drive.
One person was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where they later died.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 26-year-old Zachary Hayes.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
